Greg Cullen is widely experienced in the development of people, of enterprises and of markets in agriculture & horticulture in UK and overseas.

He has 15 years of experience in UK in sales and marketing with large multinationals as well as nearly 20 years of overseas development experience in the private and public sectors, working in Iran, Kenya, Uganda, Nepal, Cambodia and shorter periods in Pakistan, China, Ghana, Zambia, among others.

  • Marketing: strategic analysis and development of market planning systems.  

  • Marketing communications: Planning and development of publicity programmes to include catalogues, brochures, media advertising, radio broadcasting, seminars and workshops.

  • General management training and development, based on sound financial analysis, development of business policy, project proposals, monitoring indicators and review procedures. 

  • Advice on all aspects of commercial crop production in tropical and temperate countries including land project development under dry land and irrigated conditions. 

  • Advice on adaptive research programmes of agricultural & horticultural crops.

  • Advice in all aspects of the international seed industry, including marketing, sales, product management, variety introduction, seed production, processing and storage in the commercial, state-owned and informal seed sectors.

  • Advice on formulation of national seed policies, with particular reference to seed and food security, support to the informal seed sector, and commercialisation and privatisation of national seed industries in developing countries.

  • Development of national seed regulatory systems, including development of seed laws and regulations and recruitment and training of seed industry regulatory personnel.

  • Provision of formal training, on the job training inputs, organisation of study tours.
